What distribution systems are air-insulated busbars suitable for?

Air-type busbars are suitable for three-phase four-wire, three-phase five-wire systems, with a frequency of 50~60Hz, a rated voltage of 660V.

Air type busbarSuitable for AC three-phase four-wire, three-phase five-wire systems, frequency 50~60Hz, rated voltage 660V, rated working current 250~6000A distribution systems. This series of bus ducts is an improved product based on traditional air type bus ducts. It undertakes distribution tasks and is used for connecting low-voltage distribution boxes with medium and large loads, mainly applied in modern factories, workshops, and high-rise buildings. After processing, PVC pipes are subjected to heat shrink treatment, and the busbar conductors of the air type bus ducts use high-purity electrolytic copper, with the surface of the conductors fully tinned to enhance the anti-oxidation and corrosion resistance. The copper busbars are protected by double insulation, significantly improving insulation performance, with insulation blocks isolating phases and grounding. They are then sealed in a grounded metal casing. Let's learn about the distribution systems suitable for air type busbars!

Air type busbars are suitable for AC three-phase four-wire, three-phase five-wire systems, frequency 50-60 Hz, rated voltage 660V, rated working current 250-5000A distribution systems, undertaking power distribution tasks, electrical shielding for low-voltage distribution, and connections with medium and large loads, mainly used in modern factories, workshops, and high-rise buildings.

The shell of the air type busbar is formed by curved plates, making installation very convenient. The butt joint installation method allows the bus duct to be very flexible and convenient during installation, greatly saving installation time. The size of the curved plates is small, with an attractive appearance, and significantly improved load capacity.

Using an isolated air insulation method, the safety net distance and creepage distance between phases are far greater than standard requirements. The internal insulating parts are made of high-strength epoxy resin, enhancing the frost resistance and thermal stability of the HF series bus ducts. All levels of air type busbars use a unified cover plate, with high standardization and strong compatibility, and variable interfaces for convenience. Air type busbars ensure long-term normal operation at 110% of the rated current and rated voltage.

When the ambient air temperature is 20°C and the relative humidity is 50-70%, the insulation resistance of each part of the air type bus duct is above 20MQ. The casing of the air type busbar is made from high-quality high-strength cold-rolled steel, rolled into a corrugated structure in one go, thoroughly solving the problem of large-span installation on construction sites, not only making it aesthetically pleasing but also greatly enhancing the mechanical strength of the bus duct and the dynamic thermal stability of the system. The insertion port of the air type busbar is equipped with a safety guardrail, allowing access to the junction box only when the guardrail is opened, effectively preventing dust and foreign objects from entering through the insertion port, improving the protection of the conduit, preventing misoperation, and greatly enhancing the safety of the busbar.

The protection level ranges from IP40 to IP54, allowing for flexible selection based on installation and usage environments, achieving optimal economic power transmission for the bus duct. Depending on the system's needs, it can be set up at any position on the bus duct, with quick installation, easy tapping, and safe use.
